Updating your Personal and/or Contact Information

If you would like to make or request changes to your Personal Information (name, date of birth, country of birth, etc.) or Contact Information (address, telephone number, e-mail, etc.), please answer the following questions:

Are you a Canadian or U.S. medical school graduate or student? If yes, please click here to find out how you can make or request changes to your Personal and Contact Information.

OR

For International medical graduates or students, and graduates or students of a U.S. School of Osteopathic Medicine:

Were you required to submit your credential and identity documents to the Physician Credentials Registry of Canada (PCRC) for review and approval prior to being eligible to apply for the MCC Evaluating Examination (i.e., you first applied to the Evaluating Examination after 9 July 2007)?   • You may update this information any time:
    • through your MCC-Online account (from your account, select Personal > Information in the top menu, then either "Basic Info" or "Address" in the left-hand menu)
    • by faxing a change request (including your full name, signature and MCC Candidate Code); click on "Contact Us" in the navigation bar at the top of this webpage for the fax number.

  • You cannot update this information online.


  • A change request must be submitted to the Medical Council of Canada (click on "Contact Us" in the navigation bar at the top of this webpage), and reviewed and approved by MCC Credentials & Registrations department staff.


  • Unless the change is due to an error on the part of the MCC, a certified copy of documentation in support of the requested change must accompany the request.


  • Once the change is approved, your MCC-Online account will be updated.

  • If you wish the information to be updated in both your MCC-Online and PCRC Online accounts, you must update the information in both locations.
  • MCC Online - You may update this information any time:
    • through your MCC-Online account (from your account, select Personal > Information in the top menu, then either "Basic Info" or "Address" in the left-hand menu)
    • by faxing a change request (including your full name, signature and MCC Candidate Code); click on "Contact Us" in the navigation bar at the top of this webpage for the fax number.
  • PCRC - Log into your PCRC Online account at www.pcrc.org and follow PCRC's instructions for updating your information.

  • A change request must be submitted to PCRC (www.pcrc.org - click on "Contact Us"), and reviewed and approved by PCRC staff.


  • Unless the change is due to an error on the part of the MCC/PCRC, a certified copy of documentation in support of the requested change must accompany the request.


  • Once the change is approved at PCRC, please notify the MCC Credentials & Registrations department and the information will be updated in your MCC-Online account.


  • In the case of a change to citizenship(s), the request must be made directly to the MCC Credentials & Registrations department. (PCRC does not collect this information in its database.)
