Centre Assignments and Centre Dates
- Accepted candidates can now verify the centre to which they have been assigned through their MCC-Online account.
- To view your assigned centre from your MCC-Online account, place your cursor over Exams on the top menu bar, then click on View Examinations.
- Click here to view the dates that your assigned centre will be running: QEI Centre Examination Dates.
- Although the published examination dates are 26 to 30 April (week 1), 3-7 May (week 2), and 10-14 May (week 3), not all centres will run the entire period and some centres may run for only one or two days.
- Once assigned to an examination centre, you are guaranteed a space at that centre; however, you must select the day you will sit the examination from the days available at your assigned centre during the designated Part I Scheduling period (see below for more information).
- Entrance Card packages will be mailed to accepted and assigned candidates by approximately 5 March.
- If you do not receive your Entrance Card package before the start of Part I Scheduling on 17 March, you can and should still schedule your examination date on 17 March by following the Part I Scheduling instructions below. You do not need to have your Entrance Card in hand in order to schedule your examination date online.
Part I Scheduling (17 to 21 March) – Instructions
- Accepted candidates must schedule their examination date (from the dates available at their assigned centre) through their MCC-Online account, during the Part I scheduling period (from 17 to 21 March).
- The scheduling start times on 17 March vary depending on the centre. Click on the following link to view and make note of the scheduling start time for your assigned centre: QEI Scheduling Start Times. (All start times are Eastern Times.) Your assigned centre’s specific start time is also indicated on your Entrance Card.
- Once the scheduling period begins for your assigned centre, scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis. Candidates should be prepared to take the examination on any of the days their assigned centre is running. Because the MCCQE Part I is a computer-based examination, a limited number of spaces are available each day (daily capacities vary by centre).
- Please note that your assigned centre's contingency date is not available for scheduling.
Instructions for Part I Scheduling - Please click on this link and print the instructions for Part I Scheduling.
- If you have not received your Entrance Card package by the time Part I Scheduling begins on 17 March, you can use these instructions to schedule your examination date online. (The Part I Scheduling instructions on this website are the same as the instructions provided in your Entrance Card package, therefore you do not need to have received your package in order to schedule your examination date.)
- The instructions also include information on accessing your MCC-Online account.
- Note: You must schedule your examination date online even if your assigned centre is only running one day in order to obtain your Personal Identification Number (PIN), which is required to log on to the computer on examination day.
