Apply

To be eligible for the MCCQE Part II, you must:

  • be a graduate from an approved Canadian, U.S. or International medical school, or from a U.S. school of osteopathic medicine that is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association
  • have successfully completed the MCCQE Part I (after January 1992) or the MCC Qualifying Examination (prior to January 1992)
  • have successfully completed a minimum of 12 months’ postgraduate clinical medical training (PGT), or 12 months’ postgraduate osteopathic clinical training in the U.S., no later than:
    • January 31 for application to the spring MCCQE Part II in the same calendar year
    • June 30 for application to the fall MCCQE Part II in the same calendar year
  • have had the required medical credentials successfully source verified by the MCC
