Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination Part II (MCCQE Part II) Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MCCQE Part II, you must:
- Be a graduate from an approved Canadian, U.S. or International medical school, or from a U.S. school of osteopathic medicine that is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association.
- Have successfully completed the MCC Qualifying Examination prior to 1 January 1992 or the MCCQE Part I thereafter.
- Have satisfactorily completed a minimum of 12 months’ postgraduate clinical medical training (PGT), or 12 months’ postgraduate osteopathic clinical training in the U.S., no later than:
- 31 January for application to the spring QE Part II in the same calendar year;
- 30 June for application to the fall QE Part II in the same calendar year.
- Have had the required medical credentials successfully source verified by the MCC.
