Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada Statement of Registration
A Statement of Registration is an official document certifying that you are registered in the Canadian Medical Register as a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC). It includes your name, date of birth, LMCC registration date and number, dates and results/scores of successful examinations, and an explanation of how the results are tabulated. Additional information, if required by the Medical Board, may also be provided upon request (i.e. number of attempts at the examinations, language in which the examinations were taken).
For information purposes, the Statement of Registration is the official document required by most U.S. Medical Boards when applying to them for licensure, and they normally require that the Statement be sent to them directly from the MCC.
Fee: $100.00 CAD
A Statement of Registration with marks cannot be submitted by the MCC to any regulatory authority or educational institution on behalf of a candidate until the candidate becomes registered as a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and entered in the Canadian Medical Register. A transcript of marks (MCCEE, MCCQE, MCCQE Part I or MCCQE Part II) can be sent to training program directors upon written request from the candidate. If the candidate has not yet earned the LMCC, the transcript will include the following statement: "A doctor is not entered in the Canadian Medical Register until all of the requirements are met to obtain the LMCC." The cost of this service is $100.00 CAD, in addition to any special mailing fees (special delivery, courier, etc.), as requested by the candidate. See Certified Transcript of Examinations for more information.
A Statement of Registration can be requested by completing and submitting the Service Request Form (PDF) authorizing the applicable payment. Payment by Visa or MasterCard is required. The request can be submitted by fax (613-521-9509) or by mail/courier.
