| Dr. Elaine Rodeck, Examination Strategist, Blueprint Lead, presented on the Blueprint project. The project team has already consulted a panel of experts on competency statements using a Delphi process. Elaine discussed the outcome of the Delphi process and next steps, including a national survey of stakeholders. |

Council members participated in a breakfast on Parliament Hill and had the opportunity to recreate the photo of the first Council at Parliament.

Council members and guests participated in workshops on strategic issues facing the Medical Council of Canada. Topics included the Application for Medical Registration in Canada, practice ready assessment, proposed legislative changes to the MCC’s regulations and bylaws, and space planning. |

The MCC’s centennial gala was held at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. International delegates and former Presidents were among the honoured guests at the event. Dr. Kevin Eva was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award in the Evaluation of Clinical Competence, and Dr. Dennis Kendel was awarded the Dr. Louis Levasseur Distinguished Service Award.

The Meeting of the Council took place at the Ottawa Convention Centre. Council approved legislative changes and confirmed the examination fees for 2013. Council also voted on standing committee membership following the tabling of the Nominating Committee report.
