Grants

To support medical assessment research, the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) offers grants to interested faculty members, staff members or graduate students of Canadian medical faculties. Grants are intended to support and provide a Principal Investigator (PI) with the financial resources required to further complete his or her research, while promoting the Council’s vision of striving for the highest standard of medical care for Canadians. The MCC has both single-year curiosity-driven and multi-year, multi-site grant programs available. Single-year grants can be provided up to a value of $37,500 and multi-year grants can be provided up to a value of $150,000 over a three-year period. Also available are Proposal Writing Assistance Initiative grants to assist individuals who are applying for the MCC’s single-year or multi-year grants.
