What to do if you no longer want to take the TDM Examination.

How to withdraw your TDM Examination application

If you are certain you no longer want to take the Therapeutics Decision-Making (TDM) Examination, you may request to withdraw your application. Complete the following 3 steps:

  1. If your TDM Examination appointment has already been booked, contact Prometric directly to cancel your scheduled exam appointment.
      Learn about scheduling and cancelling your exam appointment.
  2. Send an email to the Practice-Ready Assessment (PRA) program you are registered with using the subject line: Withdrawal – Therapeutics Decision-Making Examination.
  3. Send a message in your physiciansapply.ca account with the same subject line: Withdrawal – Therapeutics Decision-Making Examination.

Refunds

When refunds are not offered

You will forfeit your full application fee if you:

  • Withdraw from your TDM Examination less than 120 hours before your exam
  • Cancel your exam appointment with Prometric less than 120 hours before your exam
  • Are absent for your exam

Eligibility for partial refunds

Partial refunds are only available to candidates if you withdraw from your TDM Examination and cancel your exam appointment with Prometric (if applicable) more than 120 hours before your exam.

You must contact the PRA program you are registered with for questions relating to a refund.
